This course is designed to instruct the student in job search skills and how to be an effective employee. The student will gain the skills to evaluate their capabilities, prepare a summary of those capabilities, write a resume, develop a job search plan, interview effectively, adjust to a new job and the work environment, and learn acceptable professional behavior. The student will learn to communicate with the employer and coworkers. Workplace values, goals and ethics will be emphasized.
