Students will study dynamic nature of conflict within organizations and their relevance for preventing, managing, and resolving conflicts in the workplace. Topics include theories of interpersonal and intergroup conflict, emotional intelligence theories, gender, cultural, and generational theories, and theories of emotional and physical violence. The course will also explore risk analysis and intervention settings.
