CSC623 - BusIness Continuity and Disaster Response Processes and Strategies

Course Description

This course involves a hands-on technical examination of cyber security mechanisms used to provide cost-effective solutions to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities, and reduce organizational risk relevant to information assets. The objective is to identify and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, identify appropriate security mechanisms for mitigation of these threats, and perform a cost/benefit analysis to identify appropriate mitigation options (technology, policies, and procedures).
