This course is intended to be an introduction to healthcare management in the United States. Healthcare is a complex field with significant state and federal regulations. This course presents an overview of healthcare management organization, supervisorial and management roles and responsibilities, and the managerial skills necessary to become an effective manager in today’s healthcare industry. The course will prepare students for managerial opportunities in today’s healthcare environment.
