The Human Resource Leadership (HRL) Externship Program provides the student with an opportunity to gain practical work experience under the supervision of a Human Resources Professional. The student must periodically submit written reports to the HRL program coordinator describing the student’s experiences during the externship. The student’s supervisor must also submit an evaluation of the student’s performance in the externship to the HRL program coordinator and verify completion of the required 120 working hours. A maximum of two externships may be completed, each worth 4 credit hours.
