This is a specialized study involving the understanding and application of the principles of design and renovation of the kitchen and bath. Efficient and functional layout in accordance with NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) standards, plumbing, lighting, storage, specifications, product knowledge and cabinet construction are emphasized. Practice of the design process as it relates to finding design solutions in kitchens and baths are covered in class projects.
