scm302
The objective of the course is to introduce the student to ethics, best practices, and legal regulations as they apply in today’s purchasing/procurement environment. The course is intended to give the student a manager’s perspective of the procurement process in order to make more effective decisions and to help avoid making costly mistakes. The course is not intended to make the student a qualified contracting or purchasing agent, but rather to give an overall understanding so that the future manager can have a more rounded knowledge, including how purchasing and/or procurement fits into a well-devised Enterprise Resource Planning model for a company.
